Very worried. Denver D strength is against the pass, weakness against the run yet our OL doesn't run block well. Would like to see Najee run behind Alt/Bechton maybe put Fisk at TE.
Need help at DE, Morris-Brash still on P.S.?
No more Haskins returning kicks. How about DD & KLS?
I say we continue the course as in, continue to set up the run with the pass.
KC and LV didn't fall for it and continued to stack the box.
well that's just fine so long as Justin and Roman are comfortable with an aggressive passing game.
we ALMOST turtled up in the 4th quarter with a 2 score lead, we can't do that vs Denver.
stay aggressive on offense and at some point they will abandon the run-defense.

At some point, we are going to have to find success running the ball (currently the 32nd ranked rushing team).
Maybe Harbaugh should have hired a successful run-game coordinating type OC, like a Greg Roman, for example, to elevate our "rushing attack".
2 new RBs. 1 of which missed significant time in practices. The other is a rookie. We were experimenting at G/C. Greg Roman is having a mid-life crisis buying a Corvette (Herbert), and Herbert is healthy enough to run.
Minter needs to draw up a plan that provides the excellent coverage that he has been dishing out but also prevents Nix from scrambling at will. Nix ran all over us last year. And Bud Dupree needs to wrap up when he gets to Nix. They do that, I think Chargers win.
I watched Orlavsky after the game and he said what makes the Minter defense so tough is that he has the seconday playing what he called concepts and they adapt these concepts to the routes and plays on the fly. He said is different than playing a defense that covers certain parts of the field or tries to match with a certain WR.

Denver couldn't stop Ladd. Denver allows slot WR's to eat as an expense to strong pass rush and capping big plays. So having KA back helps us.
Bo Nix has 3 INTs thus far in 2 games. Defenses are starting to figure him out.

Roman makes it so hard for me to point the finger elsewhere, it's undeniable that we have a LOT more weapons now, it's also undeniable that our O-line is playing surprisingly better than it did last year despite losing Slater and not upgrading LG or C...and with Trey starting again but this time at RT...the O-line has been surprisingly solid in the first two games...BUT when you have a play design that asks Tyler Conklin to block Max Crosby backside over and over again, how in the heck am I supposed to look at Roman and think, yeah, this guy is the right man to lead us to a Super Bowl on offense...sorry I just can't do it, I just can't lie to myself that well...I like our chances against the Broncos, even without Mack and even with the short turnaround and the bad choices that Roman is making, it will be close but I think we get the win 20-17 Chargers...
