I like our chances against the Colts. Jonathan Taylor, Tyler Warren, and Daniel Jones. Jones isn't a world beater, they use him to play efficiently. Tyler Warren is a problem, but we can have Derwin focus on him....

Jonathan Taylor really needs to be key'd on! He'll probably get his numbers tho..

Key to the game, protect Herbert and our D line needs to put pressure on Jones.

Haskins is now the power rb. He's not really a first option RB. But he pass protects like a champ, plays ST and like u saw on the lads run blocks downfield. He can also catch. We're pretty thin at the position so gotta go with what we have. I'd like to see more Hines. Johnson didn't make the Packers roster after pre season so he's a ?

        But they're a strong scoring D. #4 fewest points allowed. We're #11 currently.
I hope Perryman is ready to stop the run.
The Colts are the #2 scoring offense, 32.3 yds per game.

Their run D is #12. Their pass D is #22. But somehow their scoring D is 4th, as you mention, averaging 18.3 yds per game.

Haskins is a pretty handy player to have on the field, but he lacks the burst RBs need to accelerate quickly. I'd like to see him get more receiving targets though, he has made some plays after receiving the ball.

We can also do this the other way around - Herbert knows Steichen's offense and can help the D prep for it.

I was initially concerned about this game but after looking into their wins, they beat a bunch of scrubs and got lucky vs Denver.
If we get 1 big name back (Alt or Mack of QJ or hell even Pipkins) this week I call it a W.
at home, coming off a big win vs a desperate Miami team.

This Colts game could very well come down to Herbert having to make a play late in the game. Good thing he is very capable of doing it. Franchise QB.
Without those 3 plays we would be 1-5. Who were the one that said we should trade Herbert for J.J McCarthy? 😂

You are right, other than Denver the Colts have beaten Cardinals, Raiders, Titans, Dolphins. That's a pretty soft schedule.

Significantly better team than Miami though who Chargers barely beat in their injured state and they have a good offense. Chargers will have to play better on defense and hopefully get some bodies back on offense

Agreed. The game winning set up pass yesterday maybe only 2 other people that I can think of in recent history are available to avoid that sack. Maybe Rottenburger and Newton. But I doubt either of those 2 complete the pass. He's playing with his 9th OL, his 3rd string RB, his big play WR was out yesterday and somehow we're still 4-2. Not great, but if we were 4-2 and those 2 were to KC & Denver I don't think it would've been unexpected. He beat those 2 but lost 2 others when his bookend tackles were recruited from Johnny's Tire and Lube and Dump Truck Emporium. We're certainly struggling but given the circumstances I'm not sure what else he can do.

Interesting - The difference between 4 and 11 is one point. Minter needs to plug the leaks to stop giving up last minute points (half and Q4)

Indy ain’t no joke. I’d note 3 of their wins were vs doormats: TEN, LVR, MIA. Not sure what AZ is yet, closer to a mat than a door (2-4)? Also beat DEN by 1 last second. Their lone loss was to LAR. Its too soon to crown their asses but you gotta pay attention to 5-1
