Bowers is banged up and Kolton Miller is out .... that's tough when you are thin.Originally posted by Charge! View Post
their QB is horrible too!
Bowers and Geanty were clear BPA's..... they still need OL, but you have to take BPA's.... that is why teams that are loaded on DL or OL still draft antother DL or OL if they are BPA..... that also helps you dominate for years.... and can afford to lose players in FA/injuries, etc....
Any reports about Delmar Glaze? TTs final oline selection as GM.
Curious.

Not that I think Tarheeb Still's absence will mean much come Sunday, but I do need to emphasize how important he's been for the defense.
The data shows Still with this...
12 suppressive tackles (near/behind the line of scrimmage)
6 pass suppressions (break-ups)
........18 total suppressive plays, which put him one above the great Brian Branch, a number that greatly surprised even me, a huge Still fan.
AND...
Leading into the Vikings game Still has allowed a paltry quarterback rating of 78.3 when targeted.
Still is a very good and important player. Say your prayers for a speedy recovery.

Pipkins has been the starting RT since training camp though. Slater went down two weeks into camp.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

I understand, I am less certain there was a big truck load of other starting RTs sitting out in the Bolt parking lot to choose from. The OL played well the first 3 weeks with Pip healthy. When Pip got hurt, Hart was a complete unexpected blessing. TPB was fairly unanimous in mocking the signing when Joe brought him in.Originally posted by Velo View Post

And I have no problem at all with Hart beating him out now if he does -that is great, not bad. Hart beating him out doesn't mean Pipkins is playing so horribly, it means Hart has played so well. "guy on the street" is a disservice to Hart in order to criticize Pipkins - who was always intended to be a backup.
all jmo, not trying to fight city hall here

Nobody wants to go either. We bought tickets for the game back in May. Was looking at inviting a couple of more people to the game and the tickets right next to us are available for $35 each with fees. That is half what I paid for my original 4!Originally posted by Velo View Post
Nobody wants to watch this game except Chargers fans and maybe a few diehard Oilers fans.
