The HUGE-ASS positive coming from this game - other than the win of course - is Salyer being passable at LT. I just hope his knee is good enough to play a whole game next week. That is HUGE for us.

Props for getting the win although it was a dog fight we didn't need to be in. We need to fix our turnover and special teams problems or we are going to loose to every good team we play.

A win is a win in the NFL though so Ill happily take it.

I still say one game ball to Salyer. Can't imagine how much worse it would have looked with Deculus at LT. I've been a proponent of Salyer at LT for a while now, I think that's where he belongs and is a much better option on the left side than Pipkins or anyone else on the roster that is not Joe Alt.

Dude, he was good as Slater's replacement a few years ago! Why in the world he wasn't the 1st choice to replace him this year is beyond me.

Madness on the review. The ball was at least a yard past the first down marker when Herbert's legs touched the ground. No idea what New York and the commentators were looking at.

Was weird seeing the replay that the first down orange marker on the ground was different than the first down pole marker.
