In so many ways, this was a difficult game to watch.

Not much to say about Herb's Pick 6- his field vision is typically better than that. Combined with the special teams allowing a 60+ yard punt return for a TD, the Bolts were shooting themselves in the feet. And then, Joe Alt left the game with an injury. Most Charger teams from the last decade-plus would have lost a game that started off as this type of clusterfuque.

But once again, Herb put the team on his shoulders. He was running over defenders to ensure getting first downs. He was the team's rushing leader, in addition to throwing for 2 TDs. It was The Herb Show.

Credit to the defense, which didn't allow a touchdown. Great seeing Odafe Oweh being a factor.

Not sure why the long snapping problems continue, unabated. It can't be something they're *not* working on. And it's a disaster waiting to happen.

The Chargers were supposed to win this game, and they did. Not in a very artistic or pretty way, but mission accomplished.

I believe the medical issue is low ankle sprain vs high ankle sprain, on the same right ankle as was injured earlier this season.

Fingers crossed.

ie Jesse Morse (an excellent source) opines that it is either high ankle sprain (out several weeks) or fracture (out for season).

Yeah, let's hope the coaches actually start to figure out why they have the same problems they have on all phases of the game now that they did on game 1, and start fixing them.

The Packers lost to the Panthers today. Every team suffers adversity. Herbert and the Chargers overcame and won. Love and the Packers did not.

I get frustration when Herbert makes a mistake. Every QB makes a mistake. He makes plays most QBs cannot make. He is hands down the heart of this team and the #1 reason we are 6-3 tonight. Every player on the team will say so, Every coach will say so. they know how hard it is to play NFL QB because none of them can

Here's the thing. If we want a great team our QB has to be consistently smart/aware on the field and make the best possible decision - even if it doesn't always work out. Does it make me nervous when Justin runs and engages contact with linebackers...Yes. But part of that is caused by Justin standing still in the pocket too long and not throwing the ball. It's like Justin freezes. His mind seems to shut down. Not all the time but sometimes.If he figures that shit out he's golden. And the team is golden.
