What did everyone think when Coach H. was congratulating Herbert after the game with that child on Christmas morning smile? Herbert just kind of stared at him rather straight faced. Not making much out of it, just thought it was amusing.

Herbert clearly does not like attention. I think what is far more telling about his relationship with Harbaugh is having him say multiple times that he is trying very hard to make Jim proud of him.

Just curious. Did we see anything remotely close to this last night? Look how fast these plays developed even on deep passing routes.

So is it our WR's, or is it Roman? I don't think it should even be a question, honestly.

On most of those plays, PR had a nice clean pocket to step up into...Herbie usually doesn't...again, it's our IOL woes...

Bolts should extend Salyer asap...for depth at the very least...and I want him playing T and not G...

How is zero sacks/pressures achieving a poorer pass blocker rating than Salyer or Johnson?

Phillip Rivers went 126-102 with the Chargers (.553).
Justin Herbert is 20-10 with Harbaugh/Roman (.667)... with no offensive weapons last year... and no OL this year.

Phil had some bad OLs as well. Sketchy WRs at times too.

Good luck with that. Someone will pay him starter tackle money because above average pass-blocking tackles don't grow on trees.

The Chiefs only have on good DB, Trent McDuffie, and he left the Houston game with a knee injury, his status for Sunday is unknown.

The Chiefs also don't have great Edge players, although it does look like Karlaftis has looked much improved lately, playing faster than he had most of his career, is it film study or has he started taking steroids?

I assume he technically lost more of his one-on-one reps which didn't end up resulting in pressures directly attributable to him. Perhaps Vidal/Hampton in the backfield or a TE helping with the pass block technically became responsible for the pressures and/or sacks, or Herbert was scrambling or otherwise already on the move away from Pipkins' side to not count directly against him, or someone else lost their rep faster than Pipkins who also otherwise lost his rep in which case I would assume they count the pressure against the lineman who lost his rep, and that lineman's assigned defender reached Herbert faster.
