Line, offensive line!
And the OL isn't a complete disaster. They're learning to work with what they have better. Using the 6th OL/TE seems to be helping.
Likewise, Herbert's L/hand getting better seems to be helping. Playing Dallas will be interesting. Limit their passing O and improve our scoring a little.

True story #1: My brother got off a plane in Colombia, WEARING A ROLEX...he hails a cab and then notices a Colombian guy whose eyes bug out when he sees the watch...Colombian dude follows the cab on a motorcycle...my bro gets to his apartment and tells the portero (security guard) to close the gate. He does so, just as the angry motorcycle dude shows up.Originally posted by Boltnut View Post
On the flip side. Wear your Rolex, leave you cash/credit cards in your wallet, and just don't be a drunk gringo. LOL!
True story #2: A Canadian guy I met in Mexico told me he went to a bar. He lays down a $20 for his first drink. Bartender leaves about $17 in change. Canadian leaves it there, intending to buy another drink or two. Some big, mean Mexican thug sits down next to him, grabs the wad. Canadian reacts, shocked, trying to decide if he should make a big deal out of it. He decides it's not worth it and leaves.

Could be. There's a new (to me anyway) prison in Mex just south of Boulevard , Ca. The trip I mentioned was around 1970Originally posted by Highboltage View Post
Back in the 90's had to travel that road about 20 miles east of Tecate 1 to 2 times a week for 3 months or so. There was a Federale checkpoint on the way or I think it was.

La Rumorosa, there word "Rumor" is imbeded there from the Latin root, in Spanish it translates to "the whispering one" or the "the rumoring one" because the the whistling sounds the wind makes going through the topography can have almost a haunting sound effect...Originally posted by Highboltage View Post

Thank you. I enjoy the roots to "local" names. My wife is of Portuguese / native american ancestry with roots predating the States and Mexico.Originally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post

I asked ex-Chargers player Dennis McKnight the same question many years ago (on a talk show with Billy Ray Smith) and he said basically the same thing. He mentioned the locker room too. I can understand that.Originally posted by The Intellectual Assassin View Post
Nose tackle. Just miss the camaderie and the crowds tbh. Nothing like it!
Thank you

Jockey Club in TJ. If you were tall enough to put your quarter on the bar, you were big enough to buy a beer when I was 14. Not a problem in late 50's.Originally posted by Topcat View Post

The bartender took my quarter but gave me a cheap beer.
Not sure how that relates but I agree that resisting the urge to show flash or temptation in an unfamiliar area is a good idea.

I could fill this forum with tales of my adventures in Mexico in the 80s and 90s.
Landing a Cessna 172 on the beaches at Laguna San Ignacio, running a 72 Bronco in the 1990 Baja 1000. Getting shaken down by local cops in Guerro Negrro.
Ive picked parasites off of a baby grey whale's nose.
dropping a drive shaft the the mountains above Puertecito
my favorite was being surrounded by (with rifles leveled) by Mexican infantry who thought I was a drug smuggler. You do not have permission to view this gallery.
