huge. its like rivers back in college. love the no huddle. take advantage of rivers' brain. i cant even count how many times he changed a play and it worked (pretty much every time).

I love this O, as well.
There is no need to change our O game plan (ever).
Keep this up. Let Rivers play like Peyton. See how many MVPs he wins.

Oh and in the first round (what ever spot we draft) draft an OL again.

Good HC should allow players to play to their strength...

                  Go Rivers!!!

McCoy is doing it by design. Did you see the play clock stats? We consistently run it down in the final 10, and often the final 5 seconds. And for good reason.

We have no depth on defense. They need every second of rest they can get. So even when the game clock wasn't running, the defense was resting on the bench.

I'm liking this coach already. He knows our current limitations so he's strategizing everywhere he can.

Has much more to do with the advantage the offense gets vs. the limitations of the Defense IMO. Rivers has also been able to bait the D on multiple occasions to show their hand early and is able to audible. They just looked very composed on offense and sure of themselves. In prior years when we ran the no huddle, it looked like they hadn't practiced it....oh wait....THEY DIDN'T!

Yea I'm happy with the change. Norv had a decent run, but it was time to modernize the offense.

They just need to not get too pass happy.

Imagine that, a head coach who immerses himself in all the little details a head coach should concern himself with.
