As we have discussed before, their grading leaves a ton to be desired as they have no clue what any player is actually supposed to do on a given play.

Why do I get this weird feeling that with a top tier center his grading for each game would go up by no less than 20 points per game?

Would you want to replace all 3? I'm ok with keeping Zion. I think he is improving and think he would benefit from a better center next to him.

Gotta weigh what he will cost vs what other available FAs will cost. He brings the benefit of 2 yrs in Groville. I think if OC and RG were better … he isn’t the top prob and every OL will get beat on occasion.

Deculus acquitted himself well in Salyer’s absence. Yeah, I know Dallas has a sucky defense. But how many times have we said that in the past about other sucky defenses only for Herbert to be completely plastered during the game?

Was Deculus getting help with a TE next to him?

Great game. Got home at 7pm from Mexico, studiously avoided all media until I got to my DVR and I was not disappointed. The lovely Mrs Dmac watched the epic beatdown with me. a solid dominant win . This team is built to grind opponents into crying little pebbles by the final whistle. I’ve never seen this style in my life - Even Marty never quite reached this level of physical domination.

#3: OL. I dare say they are finally getting coached up. I saw repeated plays were Boze had no direct assignment at the initial snap and he stayed in his A gap and when that cowboy did come a second later, he was there. Great game by those over-achieving backups (yes, including Bozeman and Mekhi)
#4: Hampton. He’s flashing why he’s a #1 RB. Vidal is good, Hampton can be special
#5: 3Ds of D: Derwin, Dayan, Denzel.
#6: Harbaugh - nobody’s got it better than us!

Denver is in our sights. KC is officially tanking for the draft. Raiders don’t even exist. Times are good in Chargerville. Onward!

QJ was totally PI’d on his one incomplete, I don’t know how they didn’t call it; and that Penning hold was total bullshit. Penning is a great OL6 in the Gro scheme. Refs seemed to want to find penalties against us but just couldn’t all game long.

I'm so amazed by Hortiz. Bobby Hart, Penning, Oweh are guys that were basically given up on. And there's still time for Becton to show us something. He showed up for Philadelphia last year and they won the Super Bowl. There's still time for him to do the same for/with the Chargers.

I get the same weird feeling .... probably because he was 10 - 15 points higher with Linsley at center, when Zion was a green starter.

It's all good. Not trying to make excuses for them but IMHO, I think the Charger players were smoked from their schedule. They started TC early, played and extra pre-season game, and played 15 games straight.

A combination of the Chargers being banged up, it being an east coast game, and Jacksonville being super motivated after their embarrassment against Houston and everyone dumping on them.
Harbaugh changed their approach to East coast times during the break. We all saw how lethargic they looked.

Jacksonville also has big problems on the Oline ... Cohen is doing a great job mitigating their deficiencies.

I'm glad the Chargers have seen them once.

Probably. I don’t think PFF differentiate in their grades.
