Things I liked....well, McCoy didn't have to wait until week 6 for his first win.
Things I liked from today's game.

No delay of game, no false starts, and only one holding call that I can think of.
And they did burn one TO early to avoid a delayHashtag thepowderblues

The Good:
It's a win. We looked well-prepared. No hangover from the collapse. D made the key stops even though they had no real answer for Jackson. I suspect against a more accurate QB we would have lost this game, though.
M80 was dominant until the injury. Keenan Allen stepped up big in Malcom's place. Gates and Woodhead had clutch catches. Eddie Royal is a revelation.
The OL is not anything close to resembling dominant, but they are doing a good job in the run game and they are giving Rivers just enough time to step into throws. When he can wind up and step confidently into the throw, Rivers is a completely different player. He was extremely effective today.
The Bad:
Wright. :sheepfucker:
Secondary looks to be in near disarray.
Mathews WTF? I wasn't thrilled that he played after the fumble, but I guess I understand. His running early set the tone, but man....that fumbling is like....a disease.
Gates does a lot of bumbling and stumbling these days. More drops than I ever remember. And the drop on the 1....inexcusable.
Just general ball security. We LUCKED OUT on Foswhitt's fumble.

They won at the end despite a couple red zone turnovers and going cross country in a short week. Sweet.
Not sure how this season plays out, but excellent to see them win one at the end instead of the usual disappointment of late.

Muffews...sigh...such a talent, such a waste.
Funny, I think Gates has looked better this year so far than he has in the last three. He's moving well, making some people miss, getting some nice YAC. He'll, he had over 100 yards receiving today, despite the one drop. The fumble (which you call a "drop"?)' well, kinda hard to fault him on that one, IMO. He juked a couple of Eagles out of their jocks, got off balance, his arm came away from his body, and the CB made a good chop move to knock the ball loose.
As for Fozzy's fumble, I'll just call on the ghost of Lefty Gomez on that one.
