Got a trade down for more picks. I could have taken Brailsford instead of Slaughter - what do my scouts advise me?

So I did a mock and traded back multiple times in the 1st back to pick 29. I also traded back a couple times in the 2nd and this is what I got. First off I picked up some 2027 picks as well. I got a 3rd, 4th and 6th for 2027. Here’s the mock for 2026.

        29: DT Lee Hunter
        66: OG/OT Brian Parker Jr
        86: Edge Gabe Jacas
        93: CB Daylen Everette
        98: LB Aiden Fisher
        123: TE Dae’Quan Wright
        126: C Bryce Foster
        202: WR/KR/PR Isaiah Setenga III
        208: DT Aaron Graves
        228: S Cole Wisniewski

I know I put signing WR Alex Pierce and trading QJ. I honestly don’t think they will do that. I think with the right OC, QJ will be put in the right positions. I don’t think they pick his 5th up though. I’d be good going into the season with this group

        QJ
        Ladd
        Harris
        KLS
        Setenga

Maybe add a vet in there like Duvernay. Then you’d have 2 returners and Duvernay is a good 4th or 5th WR.

I believe they will sign 2 of these 4. Linderbaum, McGovern, Zion or David Edwards. I’m hoping for Linderbaum. I’d be good with either Zion or Edwards. I think Zion will be better with a C like Linderbaum.

              1st: EDGE TJ Parker
              2nd: RG Brian Parker
              3rd: TE Eli Stowers
              4th: DT Tim Keenan
              6th: LB Scooby Williams

              1. Moving on from Mack... re-sining Oweh.
              2. Signing an OC and LG in FA. Drafting the final piece.
              3. Getting a weapon opposite Gadsden. Moving on from 3rd-and-Keenan.
              4. Light boxes in a 3-4 nickel need rotating run-stoppers @DT.
              5. Scooby snacks for when Daiyan needs a breather.
              Protect the QB
              Run the ball
              Play great defense

What's up with the production down across the board for 2025. Did teams figure him out?

The other intriguing EDGE guy is Cashius Howell who literally looks like Melvin Ingram but with better lateral balance to turn the corner against tackles. Actually more ad*****d moves and counter moves than Ingram. Does a great job not allowing the tackle to grab a hold of him. Slippery.

I've heard that they had no one opposite him in 2025... and he got a lot more double teams than 2024.
The whole Clemson defense had a down year and they weren't in as many situations to pin ears back and rush the QB.
IDK... as I really didn't follow Clemson this year.

But what I see on tape reminds me of Khalil Mack a bit. Speed-to-power rusher... and strong against the run. He sets a strong edge. In that way, he helps replace Khalil Mack. I think they will re-sign Oweh in the off-season... and draft an edge this draft. The other edge rusher I like is Gabe Jackas (for a lot of the same reasons I like Parker and Mack).

Maybe they go DT Kaden McDonald (if he is there @#22) in the 1st round... and then get Jackas in the 2nd round... I'd be cool with that, too.

Right now, I really like Brian Parker @RG (2nd round) and Eli Stowers @TE in the 3rd round.
These two players on offense would make us much better, IMO... along with fixing LG and OC in free agency.
Brian Parker could even slide over to RT if injuries kill us at OT again.

Would be great but Coogan will be long gone.
PFSN routinely late on updating player rankings.

That Parker kid is not bad. Need a guy to be reliable and durable on the o-line.
