Would you take Logan Jones in round 4 ?
I am considering it, seriously, even round 3, come to think of it.

However, we only have so many picks. What will the meetings next week in El Segundo yield ?

Ron Artest had a radio show in LA a few years back, and he interviewed the guy who he engaged with physically in the stands ... good interview.

If I remember the fight, the dude was keeping up with Artest in that engagement.

Iowa guy .... round 4 ... depends on their free agent moves.

I did not love Logan Jones watching him, but i would defer to Hortiz's judgement on that stuff.

BTW, the Charger's last Iowa/Wisconsin Olineman drafted was their only one: 1981 - round 11, Matt Petrzeika (Iowa).

They need to do much better than that.

Agree, round 4 ideal, might require round 3

I think the run on centers could start early round 3....Slaughter, Lew, Hecht. Jones

I know I wish we had more picks!

I had to AI it to even get a sniff. Of course we did not draft Badger Mike Goff. There was a UDFA Hawkeye named Mike Jones who we looked at in 2007.

Maybe this bonus ~ #214 will come in handy.

wu was taken to the woodshed for suggesting waiting for our future center...anything could happen.

I misremembered and called Logan a wrestler, like Linderbaum. He was actually a basketball player.

Good footwork, but not real stout in the anchor. L. Jones does put some authority into his blocks. Zone skills are a plus.

Here's a friendly reminder to look for good times in the 20 yard shuttle tomorrow with offensive linemen. There is a strong correlation to NFL success, only amplified with zone blocking. The famous Josh Norris threshold is 4.47 sec.

Explosive edge rushers are seen in terms of 10 yard split over forty times.
"Don't even talk to me unless the time is 1.70 sec or better. " The Polian line.

                All fwiw.

think you gotta start round three in mocking the draft, and w/the OCs.... Hecht, Slaughter, Brailsford and Logan Jones as your backup/last resort there.... think Rutledge and Lew are going round two, and that you can add Parker 'n Zuhn if it makes you feel better 'bout things.

if IOL is the priority for you, then think you gotta go Rutledge round two, and then one of Slaughter or Brailsford round three, or Jones if you miss on those two.

if we don't sign Zion, then Pregnon would loom as a priority round one, or perhaps Proctor would suffice if that is your preference.

the only other IOL that gets my vote is Bryce Foster round six.
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

What if we draft two experienced midround centers, both with guard flexibility, rather than pure centers ? That frees us up to draft CJ or otherwise boost the O'Leary defense. Adda needed mid level IOL UFA to stabilize the interior.

hah, and yes.... am a CJ Allen fan/proponent, and would be good w/Fortner in FA, and.... recall that the both of Brailsford 'n Jones played some guard, but not sure I would call that NFL guard flexibility.... Rutledge is a guard w/purported possibility of center flexibility.... who do you have in mind for the OC w/guard flex ??
