This is like the dream scenario for a mock draft of five picks

Get two more picks and add Center and OG/OT

I like Howell's speed on the outside. But he gets pushed around in the run game and his arms are the shortest of any edge rusher in this class. I prefer more physical edge rushers like Gabe Jacas, Malachi Lawrence, and Derrick Moore in the 2nd round. I doubt Jacas and Lawrence are still there @#55... but sometimes guys slip.

In the end, I think Mesidor might be the BPA @#22... unless Fano slips to #22.
I also like TJ Parker @#22 if Fano and Mesidor are gone. Mesidor and TJ Parker are physical and fit better what we typically want out of an edge player.
          Protect the QB
          Run the ball
          Play great defense

            Agree fully.

If there is no IOL option at 22...of the realistic edge targets that could be there at 22...i am all about Mesidor or Parker. I would be pissed with Howell at 22

In Jeremiah's mock, O. Ioane, K. Proctor and K. Sadiq are there at 22
None of them are there in E. Edholm's mock !!!!!!!!
In both cases, C. Howell is there

CJ Allen * know you guys want me to move off my pick here, and dunno.... still like this guy for his intangibles and to hedge Denzel
Mesidor * takin' him off my board.... gotta make some cuts here
Kayden McDonald * huge plus + very good draftnik calling him top ten
Iheanachor * deserves a mention, albeit not my guy here
Caleb Banks * again not my guy, and.... still suspect he might be under consideration, and despite the amber alerts
Peter Woods * 'nother guy that am dropping from serious consideration
Pregnon * can make the argument that he isn't a fit for wide zone, and.... does fill the hole that peoples here are 'plainin' 'bout
Caleb Lomu * can't argue the pick as agree w/those that think he's a ten year starter
Jacob Rodriguez * Eddie Brown put him @20 to Dallas, and again.... supreme talent that might outplay his slotting
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

Chris Johnson * never really been sold on this guy, and.... will give him a mention as he does have some support in some corners/circles
Bisontis * 'nother one who's not my guy, and.... won't be surprised if he makes it to 55
Keith Abney * have seen him slotted later, which of course would be more palatable
Gennings Dunker * def fills the hole that peoples are poundin' the table for, and.... just not a fan of his intangibles
Joshua Josephs * not sure I'm sold on him, and def would like a round later @the very least
Derrick Moore * not as in love w/this edge class as the most of all y'all
Mike Washington Jr. * think this guy deserves a mention, as won't lie, that things felt pretty good last go 'round, and w/the both of Najee 'n OH in the clubhouse
Keylan Rutledge * don't think he makes it to 86, and for the IOL needs crowd, think he's worthy of heavy consideration here
Zachariah Branch * the peanut gallery just never stops its wants in lieu of needs
Connor Lew * not feelin' it re: his intangibles, and.... gotta believe he's gonna be an accomplished NFL starter someday
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

Sam Hecht * so not into this guy
Anthony Hill * better than Junior
Jake Slaughter * not in my mix, and don't think he ever was
Logan Jones * personally would make me nervous if he's our pick here
Malik Muhammad * sure seems like a solid talent and s********, and a good fit for zone
Dontay Corleone * know we're pretty full @nose guard, and still no objections from this peanut gallery

Bud Clark * think he would be a big plus if part of our roster
Justin Joly * just like the guy and again, think he adds a needed component to our TE group as pass catcher and OG hedge
Nicholas Singleton * think guy makes sense, just not in love w/the pick if so
Nadame Tucker * well, last eye heard, we've got a guy who should have some pretty darn good intel on this guy
Kaytron * like Singleton, not bowled over w/the intangibles dept, albeit dude has the metrics/measurables to add to the party @RB
Eli Raridon * has the makeup of the TE that makes it to the NFL, but doesn't really ever get over the hump production wise
Michael Taaffe * think he'd be a plus, but then again so was Weddle, and just didn't ever get us over the hump
Demond Claiborne * despite Keaton on board, got no problem adding a guy w/his talents & intangibles
DJ Campbell * have ebbed 'n flown w/this guy, and.... @tm, seems like a good get for us
Caden Curry * will give him a mention, as if he is as good as some surmise, would be good value and fill a need for us here
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

Tanner Koziol * apparently he has some talent, just don't if he's rugged enough for JH2 & Co.
Zane Durant * will give him a mention as he keeps hangin' 'round, and prolly for reason enough
Harold Perkins * could be a very good fit to O'Leary's scheme and rush intentions
Parker Brailsford * personally think pff is outta its tree w/this guy here, and.... will take him wherever he might come off the board for us
Eric Gentry * has been a man of intrigue for me pretty much thru the whole process, and.... would prefer as UDFA
Josh Moten * has the look of a sixth round CB hidin' in the weeds back here, as would def take a chance on his talents
Bryce Foster * personally suspect he's a darn fine backup, and someone who could step in and handle his biz if and when called upon
