Caught up, as I don't dwell in the forum during the market open, but lots of kvetching over the loss of Minter... about him bogarting the best Charger FAs and Coaches, but especially here on on-going interviews for the HC of other teams. MM is not certain, and until he is actually signed, I won't worry about losing a guy that got a better situation for himself. That said, I think the Jim/Joe/John have a plan if MM doesn't land here... not optimal, but will improve the team.
Welcome OC Mike McDaniel

Wow.....i think he should be our backup plan if MM takes a HC job. Steichen offense if he comes here....that works for me. Mentor for Herbert.,.....that works for me. Didnt think he would consider NOT coaching his Son for his senior year tho.Originally posted by Eurobolt View Post

They’re interviewing our former QB, former HC in Lynn, and potentially our current OC today. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think the Bills FO know wtf they’re doing and will just pivot back to Daboll or Brady as HC instead.Originally posted by jamrock View Post

IMO I think it would be just stupid for the Chargers not to go after Rivers. His knowledge combined with Herbert. OMG that would be a dream team.Last edited by ThorsHammer; 01-23-2026, 09:15 AM.

Nor did I. That's a huge deal to a son and parent.Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

Not name calling because I didn't name any specific names 🤔 Just reading the room and coming up with assessment of its general mood. On copers just coping, what else can we do? Either cope or just say, fudge this Team, Organization and this Sport and then move on. Not quite there yet but give me both 2026 & 2027 and may eventually end up doing that. Been there and done that already before 🤦🏻♂️Originally posted by 21&500 View Post
As well and "copers coping with name-calling"
Nerves and negativity are justified imo.

Joe Brady was my pick as a wildcard potential-to-be-great HC during the Staley hiring cycle. An equivalent in current terms would be Liam Coen.

Yeah I think they’re not worried yet because there’s still plenty of OCs available including potentially the OC that doesn’t get the Bills HC position. I also think Frank Smith is a possibility.Originally posted by Bolt-O View PostCaught up, as I don't dwell in the forum during the market open, but lots of kvetching over the loss of Minter... about him bogarting the best Charger FAs and Coaches, but especially here on on-going interviews for the HC of other teams. Niners have Klay Kubiak as well but think he was their OC this season .... im just giving examples. Joe Brady may be avaialble depending on who Buffalo hires and he isnt retained. Im hoping McDaniel comes here....but Damgummit id love to see Rivers here as well. I know its highschool but he is calling the plays.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
Kubiak cant be our OC. Seattle wont release him for a sideways move
