I guess Jim Schwartz wants out of Cleveland after he was passed over for the HC job, which went to outsider Todd Monken. Reportedly, he's walked out and is not coming back, he's told people that. He's under contract with the Browns through this next season. His defenses in Cleveland have been pretty good. It helps when you have Myles Garrett.

From what I hear, he’s very rigid in his scheme. Likes playing wide 9, a lot of man, and is dependent on great Edges.

he's always been kind of a hot head, I guess with all the coaches canceling their visits he just assumed he'd get the nod...I don't get why people want someone like that on our staff, sounds like trouble...,,

This is from 2017. Unless there's something I don't know of since then, Harbaugh said they worked it out and became friends again.

I think he thought he was a slam dunk for the browns job so he didn't do the coaching carousel thingy. I would still think of him as a way above average coordinator. If we could have picked up schwartz it would have been like putting the coaching dream team together. LOL!
