Assume those are 2023, not 2003. I oppose signing any RB that was drafted in 2003

The Raven man is correct. Mitchell is not Sproles part 2. He has shown he can catch flat routes and swing passes and screens but that is it as a receiver as a pro. But I don't know if that was not part of his portfolio due to lack of ability or lack of him being part of the game plan. And he is not much in pass pro. So if we are thinking we just got our third down back, he is really not that kind of player. He is an absolutely electric runner, though, as long as he gets a little space. McDaniel seems to specialize in that.

Ravens friend, can you shed light on his receiving and if it is a deficiency or just lack of opportunity?
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

I was living in the past, nostalgic for it I guess.

Right but the system we run is a better fit for him than the Ravens. And he just got solid experience in the Ravens system.

Oweh also sucked with you guys. Sometimes guys just need to go elsewhere. He will shine in our outside zone. Despite many of his splash plays came between the tackles

You never know though. McDaniel might turn him into Achane light, if Mtichell is 60 or 70 percent of Achane it's a win.

This is what I say, players blossom all the time when they move to a different team with a different system and coaching.

I feel like he has blossomed. Maybe he needs some fine tuning or to fill out on the periphery. But 121 carries and averaging over 6 per is amazing. Thats half a typical workload in a given year for a RB.

I think he is the perfect fit for us. McD gets his twitchy Pacheco type. No question he will find all sorts of ways to get him the ball in space. He has breakaway speed.

                        Love this signing.

Probably as good as Hampton and he was an UDFA.

Glad they won’t be throwing away any high picks in this draft at RB. Learned their lesson.
