When you listen to this guy interviewed (see Chargers.com) I think one thing comes through -- toughness. He just looks tough, sounds tough, talks tough. Not rah-rah screaming and yelling, but calm and you better not mess with me tough. And confident. We thought the team was soft because Norv was soft. I think if the team plays like Whiz, that is over.

unless we make a dramatic, deep run into the playoffs this year based on Whiz's efforts- I'm not sure the demand for him as a HC will be there. Teams looking for HC usually poach coordinators from winning teams. There was a lot of HC hirings this last off season and don't know how many will open this time. It may also turn out Whis, Like NOrv, is a better OC than HC....

To be honest we were lucky to get him as OC. I never saw him as more than a 1 year guy. He'll be a HC again.

Norv is a good O.C.? He may have been in the past, but not now. His Browns are averaging 8 points per game. Last season, when the Browns didn't have Norv, the only time the team scored less than 10 was against us. The Browns scored 7 in that game and won because Norv's Chargers scored 6.
