Looking at 3 games so far, generated leads against all 3 that were supposed to beat us (including 2 10AM starts on the road) and were competitive in all 3 with 1 win to show for it. STILL haven't seen our starting ILB in a game yet and Gilchrist is only a placeholder for Taylor. Once Taylor takes over, it helps both S and CB spots and you don't see a street FA CB in there on the last drive for the game like yesterday.
    Good points. Still, F'n Gilchrist.

What's up with Taylor? Is he injured? If not, it's his second season and he's a safety, not a project. Put him in if he's so great.
      Prediction:
      Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Remember when he was hired the guy came in with Binders full of stuff...knew what he wanted to do for training camp meals, had travel plans established for east coast trips, etc, etc, etc...

Doesn't seem to really be the kind of guy who is "making stuff up as he goes".

What do they say about battle plans once the battle starts?

MItt Romney had "binders full of women"- and he didn't have much of a strategy

I KNEW someone would reference that!

                  (and I still included it)

Den, you make a fair point about when the action is live...but he's not calling the plays. Whiz is. I'm not saying he doesn't decide whether to go for it or not, and those type of things...but the playcalling is up to Whisenhunt.

The HC listens in on the plays and they do give him a microphone for a reason.
