Anyone know if Te'o is ever going to play this season?

What baffles me is he "noticed" a sore foot the day after a game with no recollection of an in-game injury, and hasn't played in 6 weeks. WTF. I am beginning to think it's one of three things:

    1. Te'o is milking this to avoid playing because he is afraid he can't play at this level.

    2. The coaching staff is milking this to avoid playing him because they feel he can't play at this level.

    3. This injury is either a Lis Franc or plantar facitis injury and he won't recover from this all year. (if this is the case, then IR his a$$ and let's get someone off the wavor wire that can suit up.)

Either way, this is now getting rediculous for a High second rounder.:wtf:

Acee thinks he will play this week:

Chargers probably get Manti Te'o and Donald Butler back this week. Unfortunately, they won't be getting Gill Byrd and Willie Buchanon back.

Or it is option 4 - they are being extra careful with their high second rounder so he won't re-injure it THEN be out for the whole year. Both this and option 3 are viable, IMO #1 and #2 are certainly not.

getting butler and te'o back should help out the secondary in theory however because both those guys are good blitzers.

Gents, I was mostly kidding here.... But i do think if he plays, and can play at the anticipated higher level than we currently have, he might help the defense. So I am a bit frustrated that he is inactive each week.

<note: I forgot not to add sarcasm on this board, without stating as much> my bad.

I'd settle for Toast Patterson and Danny Walters at this point.

Elvis did beat the Fakeraiders in LA during the Neuhisal/Air Saunders era. Trade Rivers!

The rumor that he had a stress facture in the foot seems pretty reasonable. I sure hope he's healthy, cause this defense needs all the help it can get.
