I really hope he ends up retiring a Bolt. Hes as efficient as it gets when hes playing like this.
Rivers Looks Like His Old Self

Better than his old self IMO . This offense is perfectly suited to Rivers intelligence, quick release and giving him the ability to dictate to the defense depending on what the defense shows. This offense is so light years ahead of Norvs outdated 90s 7 step drop offense , just wish this type of change was done 3 years ago , can't tell people how happy I am both AJ and Norv out of here , it's like we've finally approached what Brady, Peyton have been doing for lady several years

Im happy for him. He's taken a beating the past 2 seasons. He looks really great out there. Biggest change I see is he's keeping his eyes downfield and not reacting to the rush and moving very well in the pocket.Hashtag thepowderblues

Agreed, he does look better. I'm ready to eat crow on how I felt at the start of the season and specifically after the Houston game.Originally posted by Antonio's Gates View Postyeah i agree that he looks better than his old self. norv never took advantage of rivers biggest strength; his brain.
Hope it's not too late to build another contentor around him.
Also...I know this is greatly premature...but should we worry if we lose Whiz to a HCing job at the end of this season?ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

If he's stays healthy, with this offense I don't see why he can't play until he's 38 or older like Manning and Warner.

I'm getting tired of MGB's constant optimism. Mods, please limit his posts.Originally posted by MassGeneralBolt View PostBetter than his old self IMO . It ain't Whizenhunt. I saw how he called plays with the Cardinals and it was pretty much like Norv.Originally posted by Boltx View PostAgreed, he does look better. I'm ready to eat crow on how I felt at the start of the season and specifically after the Houston game.

McCoy is the man with the plan.
I think our play calling got too pussy last week. And I thought we should have gone for a 2-point conversion to tie it today. But what McCoy, or whoever, has done with the offensive line has been fucking genius. I have no idea how this is working.
I wish he could work the same magic with the defense.
