            09/16/13 - RB Miguel Maysonet was signed to the Colts practice squad. Maysonet (5-10, 210) was originally signed by Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2013 and was waived on May 20. He was then signed by the Cleveland Browns. Maysonet was waived on Aug. 30.

            03/28/13 - 2013 Stony Brook Pro Day: Miguel Maysonet helps attract 28 teams to Stony Brook Pro Day...Representatives from 28 NFL teams gathered at Stony Brook’s pro day on Friday, where seven Seawolves players worked out. Miguel Maysonet, RB (5-foot-8 7/8, 212 pounds) - Maysonet - who was at the NFL Scouting Combine - ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 and 4.62 seconds. He had a 31-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot-11 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.27 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.19 seconds. He performed 21 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Maysonet looked quick in the positional drills and displayed good hands.

            Maysonet transferred to Stony Brook from Hofstra when the school dropped its football program.             01/04/13 - After finishing second place in the voting for the prestigious Walter Payton Award, Stony Brook University running back and Riverhead High School grad Miguel Maysonet will be heading to Indianapolis next month to show off his skills in the NFL combine. The combine will be held Feb. 20 - 26, and according to Newsday, Maysonet will be one of 300 prospects there.

            The running back, who earned several awards including All-America honors from six different organizations after leading the Football Championship Subdivision in rushing yards per game (with over 150), is projected to be drafted anywhere from the fourth to seventh rounds, depending on who is doing the guessing. - Patch.com
