Trade value of Whitehurst and Mathews as of right now?

What does everyone think we can get for these two guys? I think we should deal both before the deadline even for 7th round conditional picks or maybe player swaps. Any thoughts?

Matthews might have late round value to a team like the Patriots. Whitehurst has no value to anyone but the Chargers. I bet he's a good for Rivers.

Buffalo and Tampa Bay could use a QB,

CBJ + Matthews = 4th round pick minimum from Tampa Bay.

They already have a RB. Tampa will probably draft a much better prospect and the Bills have their QB

Agreed. Reminds me of the year we had the Vick Pick. I was reading a Seattle Seahawks board and one of the fans, noting that we needed a QB and a RB, offered Jon Kitna and Ricky Waters. LOL! Not quite the value of what we did get (LT and Brees). Whiteworst is value-less; not to mention useless. Matthews is an injury-riddled bust. We couldn't get Den60 or Yubaking in a trade for either one. Not even if we packaged them together.

CBJ is worthless and nobody is going to make the mistake Seattle did a few years ago.

Nobody would trade for Mathews either, but he would get snapped up if we released him. I could see the Raiders or the aforementioned Patriots taking a flier on him, but nobody will trade for him.
