Will never forget the block he had for LT against the Patriots in 2004 (I think).
Dwight Lightning...
I think we're thinking of the same block, but everytime I think of him, I think of him streaking from way backfield to catch up, pass LT and lay down a block to get LT the touchdown. Dude was fast. I thought it was against the Rams though.
(Edit- I tried to find a video of it, but couldn't. It did, however turn out to be against he Patriots though. Not sure why I thought it was the Rams)
Man, watching those highlights shows just how good LT was. A true danger to bring it to the house on every single touch. I wish we had someone even close to that dangerous.

Some great memories for sure. His vision and acceleration to the hole was just amazing.
Lts second year, 2002, Brees first year as a starter vs 3-0 Super Bowl champs. 24-21 victory.
I believe the win put us at 4-1. Finished season 8-8. Exposed patriots horrid rushing defense. They lost many more games with teams running all over them and I think they missed the playoffs.
That's all from memory so feel free to look it up.
Lt had 2 long Td runs that game, can't remember if the Dwight block was the same run where he broke bruschis ankles with an insane cut in the at the Los or if those were 2 different runs.
I consider this the first game where LT simply took over and dominated and almost single handedly won the game.
That online was not very good and was entirely replaced by the time they were good in 2004. Jason ball and fonoti among others.

It's really weird to me that LT is retired and Vick is still playing.
Vick had a 3-year 'vacation' to rest his body. LT was averaging about 300 touches during that time. But one's going to the Hall of Fame and the other is going straight to hell, so I'd rather be sitting and watching.
