That would be brilliant if doable.)
There are only so many roster spots though. Do you keep Geathers at rookie min prices and go out and either draft a NT or sign one via FA. Doubt we keep 3 NT's on the active roster with how often we play nickel. You either go with Geathers potential or the known quantity of Cam. That's why I would rather have Geathers get more play time to see if he can actually be a decent enough backup so we can save dollars there.

Regardless, we need to find a starting caliber NT this offseason. Barring a big turnaround by Cam, he's shown he's not that guy.

I'd hope for a surprise Garay type player THIS season.

We got a few holes to worrie about going forward. If we can find solutions within the scheem or from out side Spanos better start giving out astro glide at the gate...

One advantage of playing Geathers more over Cam is that it would make Cam cheaper to re-sign. I'm not against playing Geathers more to see what we have, only against creating bigger depth problems. Bring them both back to training camp. Cut one if necessary or desired.

The Chargers are no longer a defense at all.

The Chargers defense is giving up 19.5 points a game (minus defensive touchdowns for the opposing teams).

Does that mean the COLTS have no offense at all?

                        Week 6 Defensive Comparison
                        Team, Rank YPG, Rank PPG
                        Houston, 1, 28
                        San Diego, 21, 17
                        Prediction:
                        Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

17th! Not bad. I suspect their rank will be even higher after playing the Jags (hopefully!)
