Regarding Butler.......I am sure this season is bringing his price down or at least tempering it in the eyes of the Chargers but unfortunately I am sure his agent will still refer to 2012 and his future "potential" in their asking price. I am really curious to see how the whole thing plays out.

He missed 4 games in 2012. His durability at this point is the biggest glaring weakness in his game.

I was referring to his play this year just as much as his durability. His play this year is down along with his health.

It seems like the Chargers are always on the unlucky side as far as number of injuries but this season season unusually high even for the Chargers. Johnson, Te'o, Ingram, Floyd, Alexander, Dunlap, Rhinehart, Butler, Wright, Freeney......that's at least 10 starters that have missed either a game or substantial time. Is there any team that could sustain that, let alone a team like SD that came into the season with poor depth?

MartyCaswell: Chargers have not started their projected OLB & ILB's together once this season. Somewhat remarkable. Projected Oline only started 2 games


Doesn't even take into account that the secondary has been in shambles too.
