I knew Nate Kaeding, and Nick Novak is no Nate Kaeding. (That's a good thing)Prediction:
Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15. -

Top 10 Reasons Not to Like Novak or Give Him Any Credit
1. Touchbacks were not deep enough.
2. Pregame warm up kicks were uninspired.
3. Does not wear any pads on his legs.
4. Sports new "Nick the Kick" nickname without permission of fans on this forum.
5. If you squint and look sideways, really fast, when he has his helmet on, he looks a bit like Nate Kaeding.
6 He has not made the game winning kick in the Superbowl.
7. He was one of the first extensions (first?) Tom Telesco did. Cannot like Tom Telesco moves.
8. He has contributed to two late game wins, which irritates those who don't like Tom Telesco.
9. He did that whole "peeing on the sideline" thing
10. Has annoying habit of moving the tee around with his foot before kickoffs.

Novak has been a huge upgrade over Kaeding. I expect him to make every kick, instead of the dreaded he is going to choke feeling I had with Kaeding.Comment
