    Ryan Mathews

    Elite. Stud. Bell cow.

Was that his first red zone touch of the year? Punches it in for 6. More Mathews and less woodcock running in the red area will be good for this offense.

Not elite. Not a stud. Not a bellcow.

But two very impressive games. I really hope he keeps it up.

10th in the league in rushing currently and has mostly been playing a limited role.

Should he get the ball in the red area more or not ?

I like Woodheads versatility in the Redzone. Woodhead is also a much better blocker.

I'm really impressed with Mathews the last 2 weeks. He even showed good patience. But it should still be a mix

The way they are using all of our backs is working just fine.

Keep them guessing untill RM is a dominent player in the red zone. Once he can do it when they know what is comming and cant stop it, its no question.

I agree it should be a mix. I just think Mathews brings a physical running threat that should be mixed in at the goal line. I think he has better ability to take it wide to the pylon.

He has not been in down there pretty much since the preseason fumble in AZ. I think he has played well enough to earn some red zone touches. And no, he is not on any of my fantasy teams.

Mathews is on my fantasy team. It should still be a mix. Woodhead is too much of a triple threat

Why is that important? Who cares, as long as we get it into the endzone? It really doesn't matter if its Muffews, Woodshed, Brown, or even McClain. Or a pass play. Just as long as it's not a Rivers run up the middle.

The only reason why he doesn't get more redzone touches is his fumbling. With the power he runs with he should get it everytime around the goalline. I think he is playing himself into a more prominent role. I hope he keeps on rollin.
