I think I read they have to activate him or IR him by the 10th of this month.

Not trying to rush him, but if he's healthy, I would like to see him get some game time experience. The more experience he gets the better for next season.

That resting completely thing did not work too well for Derrick Rose, if you are injury prone it is just going to happen no matter how long you heal up.Originally posted by Hard4SanDiego View PostSit him the season is over. If he aggravated that thing because we rushed him back for no reason we will all be pissed.

once you get to a certain point beyond your rehab, there is no point in "resting" it- only testing it. If the grafts/repairs did not take, they are going to fail whether it 6 months post surgery or more. I know people that have had 2 or even 3 ACL reconstructions in the same knee over time. Lindsay Vonn just had a small re-tear in hers after being worked on by the best Drs available for that surgery back in Feb I believe. You test it and keep working back to full normal activity and see if it holds up- or not- then deal with it as needed. So far, Ingram has passed each milestone working back to full normal without setbacks. Let him continue that process.Life is too short to drink cheap beer

And if it's not going to hold up, wouldn't it be better to find this out now, instead of in mini-camp or the preseason? That is a big IF he is ready, of course.Originally posted by SDfan View Postonce you get to a certain point beyond your rehab, there is no point in "resting" it- only testing it.
