Now let me start by saying the obvious again that we knew coming into this season that the talent on this roster is absolute dogshit due to draft blunders by AJ ( yes I'm taking another shot at the guy who along with Dean Spanos are responsible for the demise of this team since end of 2009). Now redzone scoring aside the brain trust of McCoy/ Wisenhunt has renewed Rivers career but and this offense but still need to develop a power running game. But overall, I think most of us would agree that this offense is over achieving with the talent it has to work with . But what do we think of the job Pagano has done on the defensive side of the ball with its pathetic talent ? I think there have been spurts that seems like he has confused opposing offenses but overall this Ds play does not get the same endorsement as the offense. Just look at what Ron Rivera has done with Carolina's D , granted better talent there.
What will McCoy do with Pagano at years end?

I don't really fault him for the lack of pass rush, he's got nothing to work with there and he's actually exceeding expectations in that regard (granted that doesn't help us at all this season). It's his insistence on using zone coverage on some of these WR's. We have been continuously burned all year with busted zone schemes.

It's like we're destined to NEVER have a team that can tackle.
And would it kill a defensive back to actually hit and wrap?
