    And that is the season

Yeah, I know we are not mathematically eliminated yet and even if we had won today we still have a very tough last 6 games left, but this was our chance. Everyone lost and we had a chance to jump in front of almost every contender for the last wildcard spot and we failed miserably.

When I heard Pouncy was out I thought we'd control the line of scrimmage. Instead our line got ass-raped. The Dolphins had 2 freaking yards against the Bucs and got over 100 yards with a 5.5 yard average against us. Liuget was invisible, aside from his game changing idiotic penalty.

I dislike Canepa a lot, but it's hard to argue with his take that this is the worst tackling Charger defense ever.

I like the Allen is coming along, but taking a taunting penalty, in the spot he did, is simply inexusable.

Rivers was just okay, but the problem is we have so little margin for error that we now need him to be almost perfect to win. Not sure why they can't improve our red zone offense, but yet another game shows we can't win settling for field goals.

Why is Cox even playing? There is not a single DB on our team who could play worse than him right now. Move Gilchrist back to corner and activate Taylor - it could not possibly be worse.

Even if we would be able to make the playoffs, we would likely get our asses handed to us in the playoffs.
We are lucky to have even been in the discussion so far - in 2-3 years, I bet we'll be in way better shape to do some damage in the playoffs.

And it seems whenever Vincent Brown is on the field, we're playing 10 on 11. He is bringing absolutely zero to the table.
Time they give Ajiritutu an opportunity.
And,Jeremy Clary must NEVER play right tackle again. EVER. Put Fluker back at that spot, move Clary back to RG, and let's see if we have anything in Becton.

Agreed. I had high hopes for him this season, but I'd bench him and Cox right now and see what other players can do.

Every time someone claims this season is over, I'm going to remind all of you that there are still 6 games left.

This was never going to be a playoff season, so I'm not sure why being a game out of the Wild Card picture means our season is over.

So, just a reminder for anyone fixated on playoffs: this is a retooling year, and there are 6 games left to enjoy and/or watch some of these young players get valuable playing time.

You must mean Wiggins. We waived Becton yesterday.

Games like today make me feel we are a real long way away.

I beg it differ this is not a retooling year this is a rebuilding year. We have arguably the worst defense In the league and a horrid redzone offense. Injuries have taken away what little talent there was left and were fielding a team each Sunday with Mostly arena leaguers and CFLr type talent. Mccoys team was likely pressing today especially on defense. Seasons over might as well develop as many young guys that will be here next year.

He had a rough day, but so did Clary at RT. The Dunlap injury is killing us at two positions.

Yes. but the Fluker sack took them out of FG range. And that was game.
