I could probably convert the draft thread into a NCAA thread but we dont have enough members here who follow. So we will just use this thread to discuss the season and potential draftable players. Ill move it to the draft thread after the season ends.

Agreed. Part of the issue is Oregon has a lot of smaller backs that are outstanding receivers out of the backfield so they get more of those looks. He has shown consistent hands when given the opportunity though. He also has more top end speed than Stewart. Really solid in pass protection too.

I agree about the other roster spots but I think Lynn's commitment to the run game puts a premium on the RB2 spot. I like Oliver but there's definitely room for improvement there. Grab a LT in round one and I don't think many here will complain which direction we go in round 2. I'm not real hopeful it will play out where he's even available to us in the 2nd but a guy can dream.

I'm excited for College Football this year! The South Dakota State Jackrabbits are loaded.
TE Dallas Goedert is McShay's top TE in all of CFB this year.
WR Jake Weineke is on every NFL Team's radar (probable day 2 pick)
And the reigning MVFC Offensive player of the year, QB Taryn Christion is back, as a Junior.
Opening night is just 2 days away."...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
