Game management only comes with experience. So it was predictable he would struggle at it.

What's more of a problem is that his team lacks fire and passion. Also clearly they haven't been ready to play in any of their games, starting in preseason until now. The guy is in over his head. What happens when they are 0-8 going into their bye week? IMO he gets fired and they toss a coin as to whether Bradley or Whiz gets the job....afterall that was the plan all along...why else would they have two former HC's on the team? Whiz bombed last time so IMO Bradley will get the job over the 2nd half.

This is what happens when the owner lets his incompetent kid run the team and he picks an equally incompetent GM who picks a incompetent HC. Dean is the head Ahole and we all know what trickles down from that. So why is anyone surprised the end product stinks. Telesco is making AJ Smith look like a genius. AJ Smith's teams were never this bad.

Father time didn't seem to affect him in weeks 1 and 2.

I expect more games like this. His arm looks gassed on some throws. And quite frankly he hasn't been the same QB the same couple of years IMO. This isn't a bash on Rivers....he has shouldered so much for so long.

Is it just me or have we progressively down graded in coaches since Marty Schottenhiemer.

Nor Turner 6 years 3 playoff appearances 1st 3 years with team loaded with talent then last 3 years no play off apperances

McCoy 4 Seasons 1 playoff apperance in his first year after that his next 3 years 3rd and last place

Lynn in all likely hood will not do what his predecessor did which was take the team to the playoffs in the first year. Thus far Lynn has shown me little to be impressed with.

1. Known for strong running game and we can't get it going.
2. Clock Management is poor as in past with McCoy
3. Wasting Challenge flags seems like desperation mode, which all the coaches above have done and how can you forget Marty wasting challenge flag in the playoffs.
4. Questionable play calling or conservative play calling
5. Defense unable to stop the run consistently and why every game we have a LB on a wide receiver getting bet long

Since throwing power doesn't come from the arm, that is a pretty good indication that Rivers can't step into his throws......ie the OL is not doing a very good job protecting him.

Anyone watching any Charger game can see this has been, and continues to be, a big issue.

Worst start since the David Boston year.

If we end up around 4-12 5-11 again Telesco should be fired immediately regardless of the contract extension he signed.

Let the new GM go after any coach he wants.
