Dean "flying coach but at least I got ticket" don't see anything in the present. He's focused on the first MNF from the new joint in 3 years. The camera flashes to his suite and he's intro'd as the "architect" of new era. Greek-American success story blah, blah, blah from a slighly buzzed A Michaels.

Meanwhile on the field Sam Darnold runs the Bolts up/down the field. Chargers go 9-7, miss playoffs again as rest of West stays ahead with years of solid building.

Hoping Bolts tank and get a shot at Big Red.

Yep, let's start a tanking thread.

Darnold is a very intriguing prospect, but he throws an alarming number of interceptions in college - scary to think what happens in the NFL.

Imagine how many interceptions he could throw after a year behind Rivers!

You sure it wasn't Cardelle Jones in the game and not Rivers? QB play sucked Big Time!

That brings up an interesting decision. At what point (meaning # of losses) do you find out what you have in Cardale? I don't think they would ever sit Rivers, out of respect, but it would be worth knowing if you need to draft a QB and how high. The pick to draft Darnold or Rosen will be pretty valuable.

It won't matter who are QB is if our Coaches are this bad. Look back to all of our pass success, great players were a symptoms of good management.

He reminds me a lot of Bridgewater and just like Teddy his arm strength is a issue.
