As long as Rivers is healthy, we aren't decimated. Decimated are the Packers.

      Now?

This team has been held together with scotch tape and matchbox sticks the entire season.
Absolutely. Luiget and Fluker are key players and positions.

I know...I was dripping with sarcasm, man.

This team is as banged up as you can be. And there's 5 games left.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

I'd argue that Dunlap and Butler are better players at just as valuable positions.

Corey Liuget says he’s OK after injury on final play

Posted by Josh Alper on November 25, 2013, 8:55 AM EST

The Chargers outlasted the Chiefs in a 41-38 shootout at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon, improving their record to 5-6 and keeping them in the hunt for a Wild Card spot in the AFC.

The day wasn’t all about good news, however. The Chargers saw several key players go down with injuries over the course of the game, including defensive end Corey Liuget. Liuget got his legs rolled up on the Chiefs’ last-ditch final play and the Chargers’ celebration was somewhat subdued as teammates checked to make sure Liuget was OK.

Liuget said he was after the game and right tackle D.J. Fluker is also expected to be OK after injuring his knee on the Chargers’ final extra point of the game.

“The ball was gone, and they kept trying to push me and push me to the ground,” Fluker said, via U-T San Diego. “I had planted, and my leg got pinned to the ground.”

The Chargers also saw running back Ryan Mathews leave with a hamstring injury, which was deemed an aggravation of an injury originally suffered in Week 10, and wide receiver Eddie Royal left with an injured chest. Coach Mike McCoy said full updates on all injured players will come this week and we’ll see what kind of shape the Chargers are in for their Week 13 date with the Bengals.
              Go Rivers!

That sounds Jeff Fisheresque. Probably revenge for Hali, even though Hali fell on his own ankle. I did hear on the radio today that Fluker punched Hali in the gut on the play he was injured because he was jumping to deflect the pass. Mike Goff was saying that is what all lineman are taught to do, and it was well done by Fluker.

The Fisher coaching tree should be banned from the NFL:

Packers guard Josh Sitton surely didn't make himself any friends on the Lions squad this week when he ripped Detroit, saying, "They go after quarterbacks, their entire defense takes cheap shots all the time. That's what they do, that's who they are. They're a bunch of dirtbags or scumbags. That's just how they play. That's how they're coached."

                  Go on ...

"That starts with their frickin' coach. That starts with their head coach, [Jim] Schwartz. He's a dick, too," Sitton said. "I wouldn't want to play for him. It starts with him and their D-coordinator and their D-line coach. They're all just scumbags and so are the D-line."

                  I like this Sitton guy.
