Hard to believe that since Rivers has been in the league his teams over that time frame are 26th in rushing. With LT's career in the equation.

What a great take. I'm pretty much agree with everything except for Eli and Flacco as SB QBs, lol. Eli in the past, yes. Current Eli, hell no. Flacco has never been a SB quarterback. He has been just a guy with 1 lucky streak, carried by a great defense. If we could defend 4th and 20 that year against them, they wouldn't even be in the playoff. They could've get eliminated by us right there. It was a fluke 4th and forever play that we didn't bother to tackle.Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se

Awesome take. I know Rivers has his detractors, but he has enough left to get a ring. I think this team needs to continue building that defense and (at the very least) find a better option at center.

Yeah, bums me out regarding the huge double-standard with regard to Rivers & other top QBs.....Rivers always seems to get crucified in the past for throws/picks such as the ones Brees & Ryan tossed last night....yet anyone not-named-Rivers seems to get a pass (pun intended), whereas Rivers is just deemed "non-clutch".....hilarious!

The only consistent clutch QBs are Brady and maybe Joe "Cool" Montana. A few other QBs who are more clutch than Rivers are Rodgers, Eli Manning, maybe Big Ben and Peyton Manning late in his career.
If Rivers is non-clutch, then so is every other famous QBs from past to present. Peyton Manning was clutch in Tennessee and with DEN late in his career, but didn't in is prime in IND, in fact he was one of the most "non-clutch" QB, mostly to NE, throwing INTs and getting sacks at the worst time.
Brees is also one of the most "un-clutch" guys out there. Routinely throwing picks at the wrong time. His limited arm strength and height betray him a lot of time. It's a lot tougher to see the field clearly and throw the ball over those big bodies with long arms in pressure.Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se

I heard Colin do this yesterday, and I have to say I was surprised.
One thing about Colin, and he can be a wank, but he calls it as he sees it, and he'll go on record, saying "I was wrong" unlike some other media types.
It's nice seeing people like this come around. He's no longer thought of as "petulant" or a "whiner". At least by those who actually know and understand the game."...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
