Ekeler is throwing games away? Please,.....Rivers three INTs didnt help. I dont know why he is throwing those balls to Tyrell while double covered. Tyrell does not fight for the ball. We also need a better backup at MLB. When Perryman goes out, the run defense just crumbles and though i like Brown, he is too small for MLB.

Ryan Matthews were in that "opposite" category. Ekeler better not in this category and need to get his head our of his ass. Right now he's playing like he bet on games or took someone money to throw games away.
Adrian Peterson fumbled 3 times when the Viking lost to the Saints in Championship game in maybe 2009. Players fumble. He's a rookie from a school with no NFL players. Give him time.

Agree, Ekeler is going to be a good one. His mistakes are aggravating but he will get better. This season is lost but next year we should be a better team.

Correct. He was fighting for yards. It also sucks his lack of awareness on the punt he grabbed. Should of dropped the ball backward before his foot hit the ground on the line. Inexperience.

If he is even on the team last year he will be buried deep on the depth chart and will likely only see the field on ST.

I'm not sure I buy the inexperience excuse. I don't remember a rookie, even small school ones, making that many game-killing plays in a short time, in a time that his team rallying to survive for the playoff.

One important play people haven't mention much was that we should pin them inside the 5 on a punt and Ekerler ran his ass to the endzone. So not only he's making game-killing plays, he's also failed to make game-saving plays.

The problem is the othe backs on the team suck.

I'd add Gordon to the list of injury prone players to watch closely. He looks really slow and stiff out there.
