What would you do with Verrett next season?

We picked up his $8.5 million option for next season, but can cut him with no cap hit. He is a tremendous talent when on the field but we know, he is always hurt. Given the emergence of our young DBs would you bring him back and hope he stays healthy or use that money on another player?

I would think we have to hope he passes a physical first. The 8.5 mil is guaranteed against injury. I'm not sure what time of the year that goes into affect.

I would try. Someone took Osweiler at a worse price and Verrett actually has talent.

Probably just keep him and see if he can be traded the week of the 2018 trade deadline.

Whatever, if you're the GM you can do nothing and go ahead and keep him and his cap hit. If I'm the GM I'm going to at least try and trade him. He isn't helping us from the training room. Never know who would want him if you don't try and just believe nobody will.
