    We Could Lose Bradley

Thats the big story for me personally this offseason. This would be a massive loss. If we dont retain him....and we regress defensively next year? Not good. Not good for a team trying to restore a fan base.

Would you rather have Bradley as Head Coach over Lynn with Whiz at OC if it was the only way to retain Bradley?

"The Packers plan to interview ex-Chargers DC Gus Bradley for their defensive coordinator vacancy.

Bradley's Bolts contract ran out on Tuesday. The ex-Jaguars coach oversaw a solid defense his first year in Los Angeles. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Seahawks also have interest in adding Bradley to their staff. Bradley was Pete Carroll's defensive boss from 2010-12."

I don't like this one bit.

I really like him as a DC. Any other 4-3 Under DC's around... or guys with experience running this system.

Very disappointing that he is even willing to talk.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I don't blame him. Get the best deal he can, work where he wants to. Bradley seems to think this stuff over very carefully....it took a long time for him to join the Chargers. I am sure the Chargers are trying hard to retain him. Maybe he can parlay the interviews into a better contract with the Bolts.

Well, he's not under contract. That's not on him.

I remember reading, his family was still back in Jax.

It's up to the Chargers front office, to not allow him to hit the open market. And now that he has, be able to pay enough to bring him back. (which never seems to work out well for Chargers fans).

I posted it somewhere but will repost here that Schefter reported that Seattle is also interested in bringing Bradley back. Have a bad feeling being CHEAP....will result in him going elsewhere.

They could really send a strong message by paying Bradley more than anyone else. At the very least making it clear that they had the best offer if he chooses elsewhere. This should be common logic in Charger land.

They should, but it is the Chargers we are talking about.

They need to pay the man

If team management is interested in winning a Bowl, they don't let Bradley leave the building (unless he gets a head coaching job). A lateral move can't be allowed by mgmt. I wonder if our DB coach could take over if Bradley simply wanted out, no matter what.

Uh, he doesnt' have a contract. He is a free agent coach. He can sign anywhere laterally or not and management can't do anything but offer him a contract.

I was being facetious. I know he can leave. The team needs to do what it takes to keep him.

Wait, we could lose Bradley to the Packers? Really? Not buying it.

If Bradley goes, Chuck Pagano might be available, if he doesn't want to take a break. He was rumored to be up for the Ravens DC, but Wink Martindale (Ravens LB coach) got signed instead.

                      No whammies.
