Man, this guy is beyond horrible. I don't care you were a high draft pick, if you can't perform you're still worthless.
I hope I'm wrong on this one, but again, an unproven young strong leg dude with horrible accuracy. What's wrong with a proven accurate veteran kicker? Nick Folk has done really well in TB replacing this young kicker. How many more failed experiences for them to bring a proven veteran kicker here?Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se

Man if this work out I will crown Telesco and admit that he's a genius. Heyward, Okung, and now this guy? And it also means that we probably have some CIA agents working as our scouts, lol.
There are some chatters about how Lambo was able to get his ass out of his head after getting cut by us, and therefore Aguayo can get his head out of his ass too. But the difference is this guy STILL suck after getting cut by Tampa, still suck in CAR and CHI.Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se

As far as being cut, most NFL K bounce around a while before getting established. You are kidding yourself if you think we are going to just go find someone and have instant success. It doesn't happen.
The thing to do might be to hire a dedicated kicking coach. Young kickers need to develop rock solid mechanics, or they will never develop any consistency. Good coaching can do that.
The other thing that might help is just letting Kaser handle kickoff duty for now. If one K can truely win the job, then revisit the K thing, but until they can develop the consistency, dedicate every rep in practice to kicking FG.
It might also be worth revisiting the holder situation. A good holder can make a huge difference to a K. The plant has to be in the right spot, but if the ball is even slightly off, then the K sweet spot on his foot is not going to hit the sweet spot on the ball. A holder who missed the plan by even an inch is really not going to help his K, and make FG an adventure.
The other thing is, we don't have to sit pat, even in TC. Have the pro scouting guys watch every preseason game and scout every K who is a camp body. Several K finally broke through this season were 2nd K in camp for someone else and got a chance. We just need to be willing to go after one. Send a late round draft pick to someone, and we get the guy, plus we can still run a competetion between 2 guys in TC. 3 or 4 if you want to do it starting in OTA's, although that is not what OTA's are for.
