Here in the SL valley, we were down to about 5 degrees this morning and I think we are about 15 or so right now. About six inches of snow on the ground down here that was left over from the weekend. The resorts up the canyons have gotten hammered, some great pow-pow right now. Den...you coming up?

You guys dont even know from cold.
I know cold. That's why I live in SD. Still, I consider "capable of inflicting hypothermia" to be the official definition of cold.

And you are right...the weather here is fairly moderate( I'm in the southeast-Windsor obviously- where the weather doesn't get too bad, other than grey and damp...depressing!)
          Where are you?
Yeah, you're right. As I keep telling Stateside friends, the Brits have three pastimes: drinking, sex, and complaining about the weather -- preferably all at the same time!

I live in Willesden Green (NW2) and work near Bond St station.

I once suffered hypothermia on a hot tropical day.

Madison WI area, got into the minus' last night and the previous one. Something froze up in my car. It overheated on the way to work yesterday. Once I started and stopped a couple of times, it freed up (thankfully). Getting on a plane for SD today. Funeral, ugh.

And I thought my 23 degrees this morning was pretty frigid for NC.....ok, it was pretty darned cold since I wasnt expecting it today. Kind of a good change from the rainy days lately here......at least the sun will be out today...probably into the 50s i'm sure.

Got stuck for three days outside of Dallas over the weekend on my drive from Houston to Tulsa. A trip that normally takes about eight hours took me four days. At one point it took me 4 hours to drive three miles. Temps have been in the single digits with highs in the 20s. Ice + eighteen wheelers = cluster for the rest of us.

I was wondering when you were going to weigh in. Although I think the Dakotas - particularly North - have just about the most extreme weather in the country. 110 in the summer; -40 in the winter. Coach can back me up (or dispute my claim) on this. But I think he's from the South.
