The Official "I APOLOGIZE TO THE CHARGER DEFENSE" Thread

Post your apologies in this thread please.
    Prediction:
    Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Bolts D won in spite of their lowest-ranked-in-the-NFL DBs, who fortunately did not have to face Wes Welker tonight. This is still not a defense that can handle many more injuries along DL or in the backfield , but they are finishing strong with 2 more critical games to go.

Apologies only should be issued if Chargers can still make the playoffs, which they would likely have had they not folded in earlier games...

I know Welker is a weapon but we still shut down Decker and both Thomases. Caldwell, their 4th string WR, led the team in receiving. Not getting a huge amount of pressure on Manning I would say that our DBS held up pretty well against probably the best receiving corps in the NFL even without Welker.

I apologize for them not benching Cox earlier, I also think the D still not great by no means, but I think you see a difference with a healthy Butler in the lineup, Teo improving, Jarret Johnson back, and Ingram brings a energy factor, and as I stated earlier benching Cox.

Agree. One thing that Chargers did well was control their running attack and stay disciplined against Manning's antics. Sounds crazy to say they forced Manning to throw, but they shut down the Thomases fairly well when DEN's run game didn't work. Can't wait to see what TT can do in off-season with another fine draft and some better DBs in the fold...

What I really missed was not seeing DX get his 100 yards and Malcom get his 100 yards and Freeney getting his 2 sacks.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
