Ok, it was ugly. Or at least the first half was. But there was a lot to be happy with. Rivers continues to be Mr. December. Mathews had 99 yards, hopefully to be adjusted to 100 yards. Alen got a TD. Nobody have got hurt. We have a great weekend coming up. And it was the turds we beat.

Ryan Mathews (ankle) confirmed his post-game walking boot was merely precautionary following Sunday night's win.
"I feel good. Sore," Mathews acknowledged. "Tough game. Tough yards. ... It's football. It's a contact sport, so stuff's going to happen. It happened to me." Mathews returned after the injury to finish out Sunday's game, rushing for 99 yards and a score on 25 carries.
