I dont get 7+ points. I'd probably take that bet as I think KC will cover and it be a close game...unless they dont start Smith or something. We need to play a cleaner game than yesterday for sure and KC is still a good team despite their inability to beat quality opponents which has caused their slide of late....they typically compete hard.
To be honest I'd be ecstatic just to even get INTO the playoffs ...much less play a game. This team has shown its improving from what looked very questionable during stretches of the season. We are on a 3 game win streak and 4 out of 5. If we can close at 9-7 I think that's a solid improvement over our Norval slide in wins each year. We are playing pretty well overall now with our known weakness on D.
I hope we go in fighting to win against KC just because they are a divisional rival....at least we will know pretty much at kickoff if Ravens and Miami lost.

That spread is too large, IMO. With KC taking such a bad loss yesterday I think they will play this game much tougher than expected looking to gain some playoff momentum. I doubt they rest players as long as the game is close. It might have been better for us if they had won yesterday, then maybe they wouldn't want this game as much. I don't think they want to go into the playoffs on a 2 game losing streak, so will come to play. Now, if we can put up an early big lead, they may back off and save some guys.
My money would take the chefs and the points.sigpic

If the Chefs won vs. the Colts, they still would have been in play for the AFC West champion and a high seed. They have absolutely no mathematical reason to want to win this game. The only reasons are pride and momentum, and maybe to be a spoiler for a AFCW rival who they might not want to play later in the playoffs. You'll have to review Reid's record for resting players in the last game on the Eagles, but my guess that you'll see Smith and Charles only for the first quarter or half...it "third pre-season game" mode, without camp fodder.
