The thing people seem to forget is that good and great teams win some of their games ugly. We need to find a way to win ugly, and then dominate when we are playing at peak performance. The key thig is to win almost every week.

Very true. I wonder how many of the Seahawks' wins this year were picture perfect? Or the Broncos? Or any other playoff team? Is it only the Chargers that 'win ugly'? Not to mention luck. I've said this a dozen times on this forum: You need MORE than your fair share of luck to go places (i.e., playoffs...or beyond ). And that would include lucky bounces; injuries; other teams fumbling, throwing an untimely INT, or missing a chip shot FG; and - yes - even a bad call by an official going your way.
