I've not lived in San Diego for over 22 years but I do remember Loren Nancarrow. Sad news.

Loren Nancarrow, a longtime icon of San Diego local news, has died after an 11-month battle with brain cancer.

I didn't know that he had brain cancer. But if he had been watching this game, it might have been too much for him.
