I was at that first game in SD, the 40-17 drubbing. I was sitting in the east end zone seats by the scoreboard, I heard the ball hitting the pads during Louis Breen's INT in the end zone, where he stepped in front of Charlie Joiner and returned it for a 104-yard TD. The Freezer Bowl completely sucked, and I was back at the Murph the following year for that so-called "revenge" rematch on MNF where the Chargers pounded the Bengals 50-34. It didn't feel like proper redemption though. This weekend is our shot. I hope the team is up for it. Most players lose sight of history when it comes to the teams they play for, I really hope the players can be made aware of this angle. The fans want redemption.
