Is Addae the future at Strong Safety?

another young player that shows improvement every week. he always seems to make some kind of play every game. gilchrist looks like a better fit at nickleback so I could see Addae being the starter going into next year. Can't underestimate the energy he plays with. Hopefully he can add 10 or so pounds of muscle because he does look a little small out there and it would help, especially with his playing style but he's definitely been one of the better UDFA pickups this team has had.

I wonder about his size and he is still pretty weak in coverage. But the coaches sure seem to love him. I wonder what Taylor's future is.

I like him. I'm not sure he's the long term answer. But, I like him.

MM has no connection to Taylor, he should be worried about his job.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

he's under contract and an affordable one at that. he'll be here next year. no way he's going to get cut. if healthy he will challenge for a starting gig.

This is only his 3rd year playing safety. He has good speed and his instincts are improving. Being an ex-RB he lives the contact. I like what I see so far from the Undrafted free agent. I hope his instincts continue to improve.

The staff is excited about Addai so i think he could be their guy. I dont think they will draft another safety is they feel Taylors knee will be ok come TC.

IF Taylor can come back, there is always room to put a player like him on the field in nickle and dime situations. Having 3 or 4 good S is not a problem. If he proves he really is ready to be a starter and we can get him on the field, we can always just trade him. The cool thing is that in the last few weeks S has gone from being that festering sore of a hole in our roster to being a sor tof marginal question mark.

If the top S in the draft drops to us, and is cleary the BPA, then we may have a bit of a issue with drafting a S. But if there is another similarly ranked guy at a position of greater need, then we can address that other need.
