Just think of the different headlines today if:
1. Bowe was able to stay in bounds and catch Alex Smith's PERFECT pass down the sideline. "Alex Smith is an elite QB!"
2. That GB Packer dude blocked the FG at the end of the game. "Rogers is God!"
3. New Orleans misses their FG at the end. "Brees fails on the road again - can't play QB away from home!"
I consider Alex Smith an elite NFL QB. The dude is extremely accurate and showed everybody he can throw the deep ball. Rogers is also probably the best QB in the NFL even if his team lost yesterday. The Saints can still play well away from home.
Anyways... just rambling. BTW, Dalton was horrible yesterday. Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, bad decisions, and could not see the field. Just horrible. And it's nice to see guys like Ingram pull down gift interceptions. Makes the game much easier for the Chargers.
