    The Ghost of 2006...?

This is just for fun, but going into this season, there's a lot of uncanny parallels between 2018 and 2006, the year of the last truly dominant Bolts team, which finished with the league-best regular season record of 14-2:

    a) Coming off a 9-7 season

    b) Playing the NFC West for their NFC Conference games

    c) Drafted a DB from Florida State in the first round of the NFL Draft

    d) Any others...? (If they had added Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie, that would have been another.)

"History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme."

    C'mon Bolts - let's re-write history!

Damn its so nice to have a new member that actually loves the team. Its been hard for us here as we lost so many members due to the move. Just know we are still trying to recover. Its slow.

Things will pick up once games start. Again great to have you. We have a great little core of members still. Good to see you know your Bolts.

No game unwinnable, agreed. And gotta beat KC right out of the gate, yes!

One other coincidence was the drafting of a dominant pass rusher a couple of seasons previous. Also, a damned kicker ended that coming-out year as well.

Unless you are the Pats or the Steelers, things go in cycles, even with a franchise QB. We'll see how they look on Saturday... just no more major injuries, please.
