Going to Cincinnati

Going to Cincinnati for the game. Anyone familiar with the area? Booking a hotel and want to know if there are any places I should avoid/are recommended?

What he said. Stay in your hotel room, take a cab straight to the game, and make sure your flight has a week-long layover in San Diego.

Ha. Noted. Thinking about the Westin. Anyone got an idea of where the Chargers will be staying? Would be cool to stay in the same hotel.

Any major hotel downtown is nice, especially near Fountain Square. Easy walking distance to the stadium. Downtown Cinci has improved greatly in the past 15 years. Another option is over the numerous walking bridges in Newport, KY. Lots of amenities, etc over there.

If I remember correctly, I think VB (Viejo Bolt) and Mad Dog did the Cincy trip a few years back and stayed in the Chargers hotel. Maybe they can shed some light on it for you (although I am not sure if MD is on this new board or not).

There was a Chargerfans trip a few years ago. We did stay at the Chargers hotel, but I don't remember which it was. (And I don't remember MD making the trip, but then my memory fails me. LV was there, and I'm pretty sure MH was.)

I couldn't make that one. Went to Jacksonville with youse... what an armpit that place is.
